The physical component of the medicine wheel is so much more than exercise.
Our programs include:
Nutritional Programs: RAIN prides itself on it's lectures on healthy foods and cooking demonstrations on how to prepare nutritionally balanced meals. We encourage home grown food via a model grow box garden and community gardening. We are studying aquaponics.
Exercise/fitness programs: RAIN promotes activities that are culturally appropriate, such as horse riding, farming/ranching, hunting and fishing, etc. We endorse and support "Earth skills" that include survival skills from the teachings of nationally renowned author and tracker, Tom Brown.
